Registered Animal Health Technologists & Veterinary Assistants

Our animal health technologists represent a crucial part of St Vital Vet Hospital’s health care team. All of them have been formally trained at accredited colleges and they are skilled in the technical aspects of veterinary medicine. These valuable team members work under direct supervision of the veterinarians, assisting our practitioners to continually improve the quality of care given to our patients. Their tasks are wide and varied and include, but are not limited to: history taking, nutritional and lifestyle counselling, nursing care, ultrasonic dental cleaning and polishing, radiography, laboratory sample analysis, surgical assistance and anesthesia monitoring. Most importantly, they bring a love of pets to their job every day!
